Here are the latest developments.

A missile strike tore into a train station crowded with people trying to escape eastern Ukraine on Friday, killing at least 50 people and wounding nearly 100, according to Ukrainian officials, who blamed Russia for targeting civilians trying to flee the region ahead of an expected stepped-up offensive.

That attack left bodies splayed on the ground, surrounded by scattered luggage and debris at the station in the city of Kramatorsk, which for days has been jammed with people rushing to safer areas in Ukraine’s west. Officials said there were about 4,000 people at the railway station at the time of the strike, and in one video from the scene, a woman could he heard screaming, “There are so many corpses, there are children, there are just children!
