For the friends visiting, we will have a post tomorrow discussing the operation and significance for current developments of two of the most reliable statistical relationships in capitalist industry: Okun's Law and the Verdoorn-Kaldor Law (usually called the Kaldor-Verdoorn Law, incorrect chronologically).
